Physical Therapist
Dr. Jared Capozza is a Sports Physical Therapist at Trifecta Therapeutics. Jared is passionate about helping athletes and active individuals of all ages. He especially enjoys assisting them with navigating the windy and sometimes unpredictable path of rehab and not only get pain-free but leave performing better than when they walked in the door. He has a special interest in baseball and running athletes, having competed at the NCAA Division 2 level in baseball and currently engaging in long-distance running, having completed multiple marathons and half marathons thus far.
He earned his Bachelor of Health Science from the University of the Sciences in 2021 and graduated from Saint Joseph’s University in 2023 with his Doctorate in Physical Therapy. He has just recently completed his orthopedic physical therapy residency through Temple University where he worked extensively on improving his knowledge of orthopedic pathologies, assessment, intervention strategies, and manual therapy techniques. His ultimate goal is to pursue fellowship training in orthopedics and manual therapy.
His treatment approach combines specific exercise interventions with manual therapy techniques to decrease tissue irritability and create a window of pain-free movement that can be utilized to work on previously painful movements. He also incorporates education and goal setting into all of his treatment sessions to empower patients with knowledge of their injury, strategies to maintain activity level, and confidence in their ability to improve and return to their prior level of function without limitation.
His broad experience allows him to connect with a variety of individuals and provide them with expert care throughout the rehabilitative process. Jared is a Pittsburgh native and current residence of Delaware County and in his free time enjoys running, hiking, kayaking, and spending time with his dog!
